Inside of foot aches whilst ice skating?
Hi,
I have been ice skating for about two months and decided to buy my own pair of skates. I have Nike Bauer Flexlite 14 ice skates and have had them now for about 3 weeks. When I skate in them, I'm Ok for about 20 minutes, but then the inside of my right foot starts to ache, really bad. It gets so bad that I can do about 2 laps of the ice rink and then have to stop for a good 5 minutes. How can I prevent this from happening? I really enjoy skating and don't want to stop because of the aching. My skates have not been 'baked', they feel like they fit well, I always have them laced up tightly, but my feet still seem to 'cave inwards' instead of staying straight which might be causing the ache. Any help?
P.S. I skate once a week, sometimes twice.
